Founded in 2024 by classmates Yueming Li, Yutang Chan, and Andy Xu, 0159 Group is a collective of skilled creatives from music, visual arts, design, and production. The group emerged as Hong Kong's nightlife was recovering from COVID-19, creating a unique space dedicated to experimental, bass-heavy, and pioneering genres often overlooked by mainstream venues.

The founders' background in architecture is fundamental to our identity. It informs a meticulous approach to event design, where sound, space, and a distinct visual style are carefully integrated. By uniting visionary artists from across the region, 0159 crafts deeply immersive experiences that transcend the standard performance.

In 2025, we announced our first festival IP, the 01 Festival. The initiative began with a series of activation events at unique venues across the city, including two successful showcase at the 160-year-old historic Murray House that drew over 2,000 attendees. The festival is designed for rapid growth, progressively featuring more cutting-edge local and international artists. Our roadmap aims to launch a large-scale flagship event for 3,000+ people in 2027, followed by a 5,000+ capacity edition in 2028, establishing it as a premier festival in Asia.
